In the event of either extreme cold weather conditions, extreme inclement weather conditions or a combination of both, our customers may elect to close operations for the day, and re-open when it is deemed safe to do so.

In the event of a closure due to weather conditions, ServiceMaster employees who will be working that day, will be informed of the closure. Employees will be expected to arrive at work the following day, unless notified otherwise.

Employees are expected to plan ahead and arrive to work on time in inclement weather situation. If an employee deems it unsafe to report to work for their regular scheduled shift, they should follow the notification procedures identified in the Absenteeism policy. 

Employees who leave the worksite due to inclement weather without advance permission, or without receiving such directions will be subject to disciplinary action.
