Pay rates are governed by the management of ServiceMaster. All rates will be fair and equitable and will meet or exceed all government regulations. 

ServiceMaster will not pay an employee at a rate of pay less than the rate paid to another employee because of a difference in gender when:

• they perform substantially the same kind of work in the same establishment;
• their performance requires substantially the same skill, effort and responsibility; and
• their work is performed under similar working conditions.    

Even if two employees are performing substantially the same work, they can be paid different rates of pay if the difference is due to:

• a seniority system;
• a merit system;
• a system that measures earnings by quantity or quality of production; or
• any difference that is not based on the sex of the employee.

All employees will be issued their pay on a semi-monthly basis. Payday occurs four (4) business days after the 15th and the end of the month. 

Employees are required to provide a direct deposit form or VOID cheque to ensure direct deposit is accurate. Any changes to banking information must be provided to ServiceMaster as soon as possible.
